The Intel Xeon Silver 4516Y+ is a 24-core (48-thread) processor built for the server CPU market. It launched in Q4 2023 with a suggested retail price of $1,295. It is part of Intel's Xeon Silver lineup, which is based on the Emerald Rapids-SP microarchitecture. The Silver 4516Y+ is compatible with Intel Socket 4677 motherboards and is fabricated on Intel's 10 nm manufacturing process.

The Xeon Silver 4516Y+ supports DDR5 memory and features a octa-channel memory controller, allowing it to utilize 8 memory modules simultaneously. In terms of cache, the Xeon Silver 4516Y+ has multiple levels of cache. Its L1 cache, which is the smallest and fastest, is 80 KB in size, providing rapid access to crucial instructions. Its L2 cache, at 2 MB, is larger but slower than the L1. Its L3 cache, a shared resource among the CPU's cores, has a capacity of 45 MB.
